The Buck Inn is an 11-room hotel on the second story of a 16-stall horse barn in the middle of Brown County Indiana. (This is not a hay loft, folks.) The first story also serves as a banquet/meeting room.
The 11 individual rooms surround two common areas, all in rustic/Western décor. The common areas are complete with gas fireplaces, leather furniture, souvenirs from the past and trophies from the hunt. This area is designed as the central location for all visitors to gather and get to know each other. The best foyer in Brown County Indiana.
The ends of the Buck Inn have dining areas that contain a fridge, coffee pot, toaster oven, microwave and table. The Buck Inn is like a traditional hotel in that we have no real cooking equipment, but there are creative ways around that. The Buck Inn is located only 3 miles from Nashville Indiana, which makes it easy and quick to hit one of the many eating establishments.
Guest rooms are named after true characters of the old West or the weapons that made them famous. Every room has a private bath with unique, country-built countertops and sinks. We rent these rooms individually and welcome all families and couples. Rooms will sleep 2 to 6 people each in a combination of traditional beds and log-built bunk beds. Where else can you rent one room for 5-6 people in Brown County Indiana at such a low rate?

The Ranch House is a large 3-bedroom, 2-bath, ranch-style vacation home high on a hill in Brown County Indiana. The house sits on the highest point of the ranch which overlooks the Buck Inn. This large home is usually the center for any family reunion or other gatherings due to the large kitchen. The interior décor is similar to the Buck Inn with a Western/country theme.

The Brouse House is our newest lodging accomodation. This one room Brown County cabin was designed for the couple. We know it is difficult to find a cabin in Brown County that won't break your wallet but still gives you all the luxury you need in the hills and hollers. We carry on our tradition of no televisions or telephones, allowing you to focus on one another.

The tipi village is Brown County's only tipi campground. These primitive camping accomodations allow up to 8 people per night to sleep in a real tipi. If you have never slept in a real tipi, you are missing out!
